2022 Terres de Velle Volnay 'Ez Blanches' 750ml Schafer There is ample weightEz (means Les) Blanches is, not surprisingly a plot of white limestone shot soil, and its royally located adjacent and on top of the famous Clos des Chene 1er Cru. This plot makes a savoury, struck rock mineral firm red; a classic burgundy, firm, not too heavy, carrying the 30% new oak well, and a mouth watering drink. This site is high but it ripens early whilst retaining good freshness.
